Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is unique about LogicMills’ programmes, compared to other enrichment and tuition service providers?

Most ‘enrichment’ schools or companies offer memory retention techniques, and/or programmes that boost the individuals’ confidence via motivational techniques. Memory retention techniques—used mostly by tuition centres—offer assessments and worksheets that subject the individual(s) to answering similar questions repeatedly. This method only works if the questions in the final exams are structured in a similar fashion, and the individual would have to be able to relate what they memorized in order to answer the examination question(s) correctly.

Motivation techniques, on the other hand, helps the individual ‘see’ the end-goal or achievement. This method only works if the individual is subjected to constant motivation and encouragement, and if the individual has already been equipped with the skills in order to tackle the questions or tasks.

LogicMills’ Analytical Thinking Skills is the only programme in Singapore that has undergone independent studies, and has been proven to be capable of boosting academic results throughout the different levels of education. Our methods focus on understanding the actual question and the concepts behind it, and then solving the problem based on genuine comprehension. That is the reason why hundreds of parents trust LogicMills’ Analytical Thinking Skills programme, simply because they know that it allows their children to dissect the problem, analyse and identify the clues, and then use logical thinking to come up with the right answer every time.
